Serveuse dans un bar, la jeune femme anglaise Vicky Parsons (26 ans), a semble-t-il récemment échappé à la mort grâce à son soutien-gorge, selon la police. En effet, Vicky était entrain de manger son sandwich dans sa voiture lorsqu'un jeune voyou de 14 ans l'a menacé avec un couteau en lui demandant de l'argent. Au lieu de lui en donner, Vicky l'a insulté! Le voyou l'a alors poignardé dans sa poitrine avant de s'enfuir (il a ensuite été arrêté par la police). Mais Vicky n'a été que légérement blessée car les filaments de son soutien-gorge ont amorti le choc du couteau!

Vicky Parsons, 26, was sitting in her parked car with the window down when she felt someone grab her throat.
At first she thought it was friends playing a trick, but when she looked around was confronted by two teenage attackers with bandanas over their faces.
One held a knife to her face and demanded cash and her hand was cut as she managed to push the blade away.
During a struggle the youth thrust the weapon at her chest, the point puncturing her skin.
But the blade's serrated edge snagged on the wire under the cup of the cheap supermarket bra and prevented it penetrating further.
"It saved my life," said Miss Parsons, from Patrington, near Hull. "Thankfully the underwire in the bra took all the shock."
The attack happened in a car park in Charles Street, Hull, during a hot day in August.
Miss Parsons was on a break from work and had put her window down to let the air in when the teenage assailants pounced.
As they fled empty-handed she got out of her car and flagged down a passing motorist and passenger who turned round to give chase.
One of the men managed to catch the 14 year old knife with the knife and brought him back to police who were now with Miss Parsons.
Hull Crown Court sentenced the attacker, who cannot be named because of his age, to four years in a young offenders' institution for assault with intent to rob and grievous bodily harm.
Detective Constable Emma Rion, of Humberside Police, said: "This was a truly horrendous attack that could have had for more serious consequences. We may have been dealing with a murder inquiry."
