CHAKIB KHIYARI Moroccan human rights group leader arrested


The leader of a Moroccan human rights group that has spoken out about drug trafficking has been arrested, members of his group said Thursday.
Chakib Khiyari, the chairman of the Rif Association for Human Rights, was arrested during a police raid in his house in the northern Morocco town of Nador on Wednesday, said the association's deputy head, Mohammed Hamouchi.
About 10 plainclothes officers from the Casablanca-based National Brigade police unit along with police officers searched Khiyari's house and confiscated his computer, Hamouchi said.
Colleagues have had no news from the rights group leader since then, they said.
The association focuses on promoting human rights in the Rif, a remote region of northern Morocco inhabited mostly by the Berber ethnic minority and where most of the country's hashish is grown. Morocco is the world's second-largest hashish producer and has vowed to crack down on drugs.

اعتقلت الشرطة المغربية الناشط الحقوقي والسياسي شكيب الخياري في مدينة الناضور شمال شرق المغرب على خلفية
ملف نشاطه في فضح ممارسات الفساد وخاصة تورط المسؤولين في ملفات المخدرات.
ويترأس شكيب الخياري 'جمعية الريف لحقوق الإنسان'، وقالت مصادر بالجمعية أن اعتقال شكيب جرى فجر الأربعاء حيث اقتحمت الشرطة منزل أسرته وسط الناضور (شمال شرق) واقتادته إلى وجهة مجهولة بعدما صادرت عددا من الوثائق وحاسوبه الشخصي، ويعتقد أنه نقل إلى الدار البيضاء مقر الفرقة الوطنية.
وأعربت الجمعية عن إدانتها الشديدة لهذا الاعتقال وطالبت بالكشف عن مكان احتجاز الخياري والإفراج عنه فورا.
ووجهت الجمعية نداء للمنظمات الحقوقية المحلية والدولية والهيئات المعنية للتدخل الفوري لوقف هذه الخروقات التي وصفتها بالمتناقضة مع الدستور المغربي وكل المواثيق الدولية.
ونقلت صحيفة 'الجريدة الأولى' المغربية أمس الخميس أن الاعتقال ربما يكون له علاقة بالتصريحات التي يدلي بها الخياري إلى وسائل الإعلام الدولية والتي تفضح تجارة المخدرات في أقاليم شمال المغرب.
وكان الخياري قد وجه رسالة إلى الملك محمد السادس منذ ثلاث سنوات طالبه فيها بالتدخل الفوري لوقف تهريب الحشيش الذي يتم انطلاقا من شواطئ مدينة الناضور وعلى بعد عشرات الأمتار فقط من مقر المؤسسات الأمنية. وأعقب ذلك انه كاد أن يعتقل بتهمة قال مقربون منه انها ملفقة، تتعلق بالهجرة السرية، لولا أن جريدة 'الباييس' الاسبانية نشرت رسالته الموجهة إلى الملك فنجمت عن ذلك حملة ملاحقة المهربين وبعض مسؤولي الدولة ومصادرة أكثر من 130 زورقاً.
وشهدت مدينة الناضور خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة حملة جديدة انتهت باعتقال قرابة مئة من عناصر الدرك والبحرية والقوات المساعدة والشرطة بعضهم من رتب سامية، وتعتبر أكبر حملة في تاريخ مكافحة المخدرات، وكان لشكيب دور في عمليات الفضح قبل تحرك السلطات.

Ben s'il trafiquait dans la drogue, c'est normal. Tous ceux qui travaillent dans le canabis doivent recevoir le message. L'Etat ne veut plus de Canabis au Maroc.

ce n'est pas ce que dit l'article. c'est dit peut être à cause de ses points de vue et ses denonciations envers les traficcants de drogue. il a déjà envoyé une lettre à M6 ça fait 3 ans pour qu'il mette fin à ce trafic.
Tout en ne croyant pas les medias j'aimerais bien savoir pour quelle raison on l'a capturé.
Avec la drogue c'est toujours compliqué à comprendre.

En effet là il y a de fortes chances pour que ce soit des policiers corrompus qui essaient de se venger.

Je n'ai rien compris a l'article, le titre raccoleur , le reste trés flou.Gaess, comme quoi, il faut lire sept fois un article avant de charger, un innocent jusqu'a preuve du contraire .CE Monsieur n'est-il pas le responsable des droits de l'homme au maroc?Merci de me renseigner .
