le halay Kurde,le zeybekiko Grec,et la dabke Arabe ont a peu pres le meme principe.
Sauf que pour le halay,c'est plutot la partie superieure du corps qui s'impliquee dans la dance.
Dans le Zeyebetiko,c'est plutot le contraire.(cad la partie inferieure du corps qui s'implique le plus)
Tandis que pour la dabke Arabe,les deux parties du corps sont assez egalement impliquees dans cette dance.
La chose interessante est que ces trois dances sont jouees un peu partout dans cette partie du monde indepedamment de l'ethnie qu'on peut dire qu'il s'agit d'un folklore commun.

Halay is traditionally played on the zurna, supported by a davul, but in the recent years, electronic instruments have started to replace them. Typically, Halay dancers form a circle or a line, while holding each other with the little finger or shoulder to shoulder or even hand to hand with the last and first player holding a piece of cloth — usually called "mendil" (from Arabic). It is a national dance in Turkey and Armenia[citation needed].
Halay in weddings
In many Turkish, Azerbaijani, Assyrian, Kurdish, Syriac, Turkish, Turkmen, Aramean, Arabic, Persian, Albanian and Greek weddings, people dance Halay for hours. Every region has its own style and forms.

Zeibekiko (or Zeybekiko, Greek: Ζεϊμπέκικο) is considered an urban improvisational dance[1] from Greece with a rhythmic pattern of 9/4[2] or else 9/8[3] (broken down as 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/16 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/16 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8). The dance originated from the Zeybek warriors of Anatolia and was partly introduced in Greece after the 1923 population exchanges following the Treaty of Lausanne.[4] Subsequently, the dance became naturalized in Greece and is now re-introduced in Turkey as a Greek dance.[4] It has been suggested that the well-known Greek rebetiko composer and singer Markos Vamvakaris from the island of Syros played an important role in shaping and popularizing this musical and dance genre.[5] Zeibekiko is common in Greece and areas around the world with large Greek populations. Throughout history it has been known as an intensely personal dance where people can express their individuality. Only one man at a time may dance it. If another got up, it would be a cause for conflict and possible violence. However, in the 21st century a certain dance etiquette has evolved, seeing men either wait until the dancing man stops and then begin dancing, or standing up so the dancer gives them his place. In contemporary society, women may dance also the Zeibekiko. Traditionally, applause was not sought nor commonly given, out of respect. This did not, however, lessen creativity, with dancers performing feats such as standing on a glass of wine or a chair or fireplace, or picking up a table, adding a sense of little braggadocio and humor. Zeibekiko songs are popular and vast - some of the more traditional Zeibekiko songs are To Zeimpekiko Ths Eudokias.

والدبكة هي رقصة شرقية جماعية معروفة في لبنان، سورية، الأردن، فلسطين، والعراق وكذلك شمال السعودية. يصطف فيها الراقصون إما على شكل صف أو على شكل قوس أو دائرة. يكون الراقصون من الذكور أو الإناث، وتؤدى الرقصات إما معا أو كل على حدة.
يقود الرقصة أول الراقصين، وهو يحدد بشكل عام منحى الرقصة، ويقوم عادة بأداء حركات إضافية تظهر مهارته.
والدبكة تكون عبارة عن حركات بالارجل وتتميز بالضرب على الارض بصوت عالي.

الدبكة عدة انواع، ومنها :
- الكرادية أو الطيارة : وهي تتميز بالإيقاع السريع، فلا بد أن يكون من يزاولها يتمتع باللياقة وبحركة سريعة ويكون لديهم تجانس في الحركة مع أقرانهم.
- دبكة الدلعونا : وهي ذات إيقاع متوسط، وأصبحت الدلعونا تُغنى بأغاني جديدة الكلمات لكن على نفس الإيقاع مع اختلاف في الكلمات. كأن نقول مثلا: على دلعونا ونضع أي كلمات نريدها بحسب المناسبة.
- دبكة زريف الطول : ينتشر قيها المديح والتفتيش عن مناقب البنت الحلوة أو الفتى، أو المناقب الموجودة في البشر وهذه تستخدم للغزل في الأفراح والمناسبات الأخرى.
- دبكة الدحيّة : تنتشر عند البدو وهي خاصة بهم، وفيها تسحيجات وتصدر أصوات قد لا يفهمها الأخرون
