BERLIN (AP) -- The agent for Michael Schumacher Tuesday denied a report by an Algerian newspaper that the Formula One driver is actually named "Farouk" and moved to Germany.
El Modjhahid claimed it had documented proof that Michael and his brother, Ralf Schumacher, also a Formula One driver, had an Algerian father and German mother and were born in the town of Blida.
After the father died, the Schumachers allegedly moved to Germany and changed their names. Ralf's real name, according to the story in the paper, is Hassan.
"Sensational idea. It should be printed exactly like that. Actually I haven't heard anything that stupid in a long time," Michael Schumacher's press agent, Heiner Buchinger, told the Berlin daily B.Z.
The B.Z. printed pictures of the two clean-shaven brothers wearing fezs and sporting mustaches, calling the story the craziest of the year.
The B.Z., as well as several other German papers, also said El Modjhahid seems to have overlooked the fact the square-jawed brothers bear a strong resemblance to their father, Rolf Schumacher.
Rolf Schumacher was raised in Cologne, Germany.

Parce que le Schumy quand tu vois ce qu'il a dans le crâne (enfin ce qu'il n'a pas, ça tient à coup de sciure), j'aurais plutôt envie de le désalgérianiser s'il était
