High school students share sex video found on teacher's stolen mobile phone
GEELONG students circulated a sex video of their teacher after they found it on her stolen mobile phone.
Cold-hearted Western Heights Secondary College VCE students yesterday boasted on Facebook after stealing the teacher's phone and threatening to post the raunchy home video with an adult partner on the internet.
The school yesterday threw its support behind the popular teacher, saying distribution of the video was a gross invasion of privacy.
Geelong police are investigating the theft but the students have not been suspended.
One student told the Geelong Advertiser there were two sex videos on the teacher's phone and they had been distributed at a party via mobile phones.
She said while some had ridiculed the teacher, most rallied behind her.

``She has been violated,'' the student said.
``She is one of the best teachers at the school and she did not deserve this at all.''
Western Heights Secondary College principal Kris Rooney said she was waiting until the police probe concluded before taking any action.
``We are aware there is an allegation that a private phone has been accessed by students and we have contacted relevant authorities who are dealing with it,'' Ms Rooney said.
``I can confirm with you that the police are investigating the theft of data from a privately owned mobile phone.''
One student on her Facebook page states: ``Just putting it out there ... we're in s--t''.
Ms Rooney said the teacher had been offered the school's full support and remains working.
``Anybody who had their privacy compromised would be distressed,'' she said.
``What we are dealing with is a gross invasion of privacy and everyone has the right to privacy.''
Ms Rooney said school computer technicians were looking into the Facebook messages and if the video had made it on the internet.
She said she was ``disappointed'' with the students' conduct especially because the school went to significant efforts to warn students about the dangers on the internet and the law when it came to privacy.
Police yesterday confirmed they were investigating the incident.
Any students involved face possible charges of theft and a raft of offences under the Commonwealth Telecommunications Act.
