Le mormon Mitt Romney a perdu l'élection présidentielle américaine, mais peut désormais se targuer de s'être distingué au moins dans une catégorie en 2012, à savoir celle du parlé en charabia incohérent en Anglais!
L'organisme britannique "Plain English Campaign" dont la mission est de promouvoir l'utilisation claire ET concise de la langue anglaise notamment par les entreprises et les institutions, lui a récemment décerné le prix de "Foot in Mouth" (pied dans la bouche) pour avoir "brutalisé" la langue anglaise avec les phrases ci-dessous:
"I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that's the America millions of Americans believe in. That's the America I love."
"When you have a fire in an aircraft, there's no place to go, exactly, there's no -- and you can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem." (voir vidéo)
