Global Group signe une joint-venture avec Hyundai Motor Company sur la base des 51/49%, afin de produire des véhicules utilitaires en Algérie. Le projet consiste donc en l’implantation d’une nouvelle usine à Batna, avec une capacité de production de 6.500 véhicules/an. Il est utile de signaler que les véhicules qui seront fabriqués et commercialisés en Algérie seront aussi destinés à l'exportation vers l'Afrique et l'Europe.

Hyundai Motor and Algerian car maker Global Group signed a deal on Monday to establish a joint venture to produce commercial cars in Algeria. The joint venture will operate a factory that assembles knock down kits in Batna, Algeria. The assembly facility is scheduled to start operations in 2020. In the early stage, the factory will assemble 6,500 cars a year and gradually increase production.
