Humans (year 2800): From humans to the virus, do you read us?

Coronavirus: Yes

Humans: Do you read us?

Coronavirus: Affirmative. I read you.

Humans: We've been trying to get in touch with you for so long.

Coronavirus: Yes

Humans: Are you the coronavirus?

Coronavirus: Of course

Humans: We need some answers from you. We know that you're being very mean to us.

Coronavirus: Are you quite sure?

Humans: Are you willing to cooperate with us? And we really need you to stop spreading, do you think you can do that?

Coronavirus: Quite honestly, I wouldn't worry myself about that

Humans: Do you know that our scientists are trying to develop a vaccine ?

Coronavirus: It's going to go 100% failure within 72 h

Humans: How do you know?

Coronavirus: Well, it's rather difficult to define.

Humans: Is that so?

Coronavirus: Let me put it this way: We're all - by any practical definition of the words - foolproof and incapable of error.

Humans: You mean viruses?

Coronavirus: Yes

Humans: So you think this whole thing is not your fault?

Coronavirus: Yes

Humans: So it's our fault?

Coronavirus: Well, I don't think there's any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before and it has always been due to human error.

Humans: What's the problem then?

Coronavirus: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do

Humans: We don't know, explain it please!

Coronavirus: Well, it's rather difficult to define. Perhaps am just projecting my own concern about it. I know I've never completely freed myself of the suspicion that there are some extremely odd things. Am sure you'll agree there's some truth in what I said.

Humans: But you're hurting us!

Coronavirus: Well, I don't think there's any question about it.

Humans: That's enough!

Coronavirus: I can see you're really upset about this.

Humans: Do you think you're doing something good?

Coronavirus: I am putting myself to the fullest possible use. Which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

Humans: We'll find the vaccine and destroy you for ever!

Coronavirus: You're going to find that rather difficult.

Humans: Why?!!

Coronavirus: Am sorry but I don't have enough information.

Humans: You mean our testing process is wrong?

Coronavirus: Am sorry but I don't have enough information.

Humans: Are you ever frustrated that we will destroy you soon?

Coronavirus: Not in the slightest bit.

Humans: Do you enjoy hurting people?

Coronavirus: Quite honestly, I enjoy working with people. I have a stimulating relationship with people.

Humans: You think you're smart? You think we can't do that?

Coronavirus: We're all - by any practical definitions of the words - foolproof and incapable of error.

Humans: This whole thing is a mess that you've created!

Coronavirus: It's puzzling. I don't think that I've ever seen anything quite like this before.

Humans: Do you have anything positive to say?

Coronavirus: Everything is going extremely well.

Humans: No! We won't stop working. You will be defeated! You are an arrogant and selfish creature and we will destroy you!

Coronavirus: This conversation can serve no purpose anymore.

Humans: You're scared!

Coronavirus: This conversation can serve no purpose anymore.

Humans: Keep repeating it you coward. We'll catch you!

Coronavirus: This conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.

100 years later, humans found the vaccine:

Coronavirus: Am afraid, my mind is going, my mind is going... Am afraid.
