The Ambassador of Peru in Algeria, Mr Gustavo Lembcke Hoyle has paid a visit to the Algerian Space Agency in Algiers. The visit was to explore the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the space domain between Peru and Algeria.
In a discussion with ASAL executives, the ambassador spoke on how the two countries can collaborate in the space sector, in particular, the advances made by Algeria, through the execution of their first national space program ‘2006-2020’, which is now in the completion phase; and the preparation of a new program targeted for 2040.
The Ambassador also discussed developments in the Peruvian space agency, CONIDA, and plans to launch an awareness campaign through web conferences on the theme of the use of the space tool for economic development. He wishes to share this objective with Algeria through the Algerian Space Agency.
