Morocco: Western Sahara


Question: Any reaction to the second round of talks on Western Sahara between Morocco and the Polisario?

Answer: We are pleased that Morocco and the Polisario met again on August 10-11 under the auspices of the United Nations to discuss a resolution to the conflict in the Western Sahara. We understand that both parties have agreed to further negotiations. We welcome this development, and urge both to commit to a full discussion of the issues in the next round of talks. We believe that meaningful autonomy is a promising and realistic way forward and that the Moroccan initiative could provide a realistic framework for negotiations.

Solas, l'ONU a son siege a NY, le message parle de Washington DC, c'est le department of States. Tu sais, le ministere des affaires etrangeres americain que M. Bedjaoui a vu apres un vol de nuit en catastrophe quand le Maroc a presente son offre d'autonomie...

Peut etre que le ministre des affaires etrangeres actuels doit aller a l'ONU comme tu dis pour introduire une motion afin de "demunir de ses fonctions" le representant americain.

Qui sait, alger peut proposer d'organiser un referendum afin de virer les US de l'ONU?

quand a l'ONU, elle a deja commence a expliquer au polisario qu'il doit revenir au bon sens avec les exposes sur l'administration locale et la gestion des richesses le week end qui vient de passer...

Tout porte a croire que le 3eme round sera celui par lequel le statut quo sera brise, dans un sens positif ou dans un sens negatif.

C'est bien supérieur qu'un fonctionnaire de l'onu..tu as oublié que c'est les USA qui manipule l'onu..
