A Hamas delegation concluded, on Wednesday, a visit to Algeria where they presented the group's vision to achieve Palestinian reconciliation, the former Hamas Representative in Lebanon, Ali Baraka, said in a statement.
Baraka described the Algeria dialogue as a new opportunity to end Palestinian division, stressing the movement's adherence to the "national partnership project".
"Hamas is committed to achieving national unity, arranging the Palestinian house, and concentrating efforts towards launching a popular uprising that ends the Zionist occupation of our land and our holy sites" he said.
Baraka added that ending the division would come through the holding of presidential, legislative and Palestinian National Council elections, electing a new executive committee and chairman for the Palestine Liberation Organization.
The Hamas delegation, which included members of the group's political bureau, Khalil Al-Hayya and Hussam Badran arrived on Monday in Algeria for talks on inter-Palestinian talks. ...
