Hello folks,

This is an interesting thread. I will contribute and help out once in a while when I can in correcting some of your contributions.
My wife is in her fourth year of total immersion in English :-) here in the USA. She strives at improving her English every day. She has no choice since I would chew her if she doesn't.
I keep telling her that English is a beautiful language but she needs to keep working on it every day. I still do after so many years of speaking and writing it. The learning process never stops but it has been a wonderful journey...it is so liberating!

I'm happy. Yesterday, i went to first english conversation in the first level. Finaly, i went to the second level and i did 2 hours english conversation. I'm dealing well with it
I borrowed simplified reading books from the library. There are different levels. I've already read Robin hood wiche is start level and i will read Short stories of Sherlock Holmes, may this night. It's A1 level.
