Shakur, who was shot dead in 1996, was able to delight (and terrify) the crowd courtesy a New York-based special effects company called MPC. As Forbes reports, the SFX artists combined live footage, wire-framing and CGI to create The Zombie Tupac, which was then projected onto a lightweight foil — which managed to reflect every ‘90s authentic detail of the West Coast MC, from his six pack to his acid-wash jeans.
